Event Manager - part-time 
 

Worked in a group of 6 in connection with CJS to stage a major European Social Enterprise conference, for 260 international delegates from 14 countries. Created databases of potential delegates, made cold calls, arranged transport, conference and gala dinner decor. Accessing risk and health and safety, as standard.

Key achievement: The event received a grade of A+

Created audio-based news coverage ready for broadcast, via a British-speaking commercial radio network, in places such as Tenerife and the Canary Islands.

Key achievement: Had exposure on the three commercial radio stations Coast, Atlantis and Energy FM.

Broadcast Researcher - full time one-week work experience

Received training of ENPS, Newsgathering, Radio Man 4, Jutel Quick Edit and taught how to operate production control throughout a variety of shows. Assisted in researching content and made calls to arrange interviews in relation to current news

- Key achievement: Created three vox-pop recordings which were broadcast on 11th, 12th and 13th July.

PR Account Executive - full time three-month internship 
 

Wrote a number of press releases to seek media exposure for clients. Regularly researched into ways of promotion to source an increased foot-fall. Learned how to write in different contexts.

Key achievement: Written copy for the newsletters for The Energy Consortium, Heart of the Shires shopping village and Cool Logistics, a company that specialises in temperature-controlled packaging for pharmaceutical products.

Broadcast Researcher - part time
 
Created feature packages and vox-pop recordings on current and local news. Arranged and presented live interviews on-air to cover upcoming or current events.
Given the opportunity to present one, which later led to two, weekly drive-time shows. Began managing the production team and began liaising with the station coordinator.

Key Achievement: Received a gold award for volunteering 350 hours throughout the academic year. I had exposure on BBC Radio Northampton with the feature: Prostitution in Northampton. I was also invited on-air to discuss the piece.
